This is a picture of a guys two favorite things: his wife and his car (or his CAR and his wife?) This girl is not only a volkswagen nut, seems that she also produced one-off bits for this car! This car is from a member of the DFL club, a club that is a “brother” Callook-club of my club, DAS here in Belgium. I would say, next time, get out your BIKINI!

This is the car that started the Type three Madness in Europe, it once belonged to PUPPY, who then started his T3D shop. It had very sexy speedwell bucket seats in the front, and I think it sported a Type 4 engine.

Here is a very nice 1500S from France. Look at that lowered stance, and the wheels (CHROMED Lemmerz/Empi/Sprintstar 5 lugs) that fit the car PERFECT!

This nice optional tent was available for making your type three squareback even bigger, when going on that nice fishing/camping holiday!

This car is also a 1500N squareback, but it was delivered as a panel. This was an option you could order. Not alot of these cars were made, and like that, they are very sought after by the  T3 affectionados. As the brazilian volkswagen factory had his very own taste of the type three, they decided to design one for themselves, for the brazilian and south american market. I have never seen one with my own eyes…

This type three 1500N is a first production year car. it was made in januari 1962! it has chassisnumber 20685, witch makes it one of the most early models i have seen with my own eyes. I went to take a look at this car, but it needed A LOT of restauration work ! Some of the most specific bits were missing or were busted, and the engine was seized. i decided to pass on this car, but i do regret it now… and yesss, that is me checking the car out.
