The DO treatment

Here is one of the more famous cars: a 1966 squareback with full RED pimp interior, even a nice red dashtop, once owned by David Orozco, totally pimped out with abarth exhaust, revcounter, recliner seats, and more of this exotic stuff …
this is what we call: giving your car the DO-treatment!

NINOF 2003

This picture was taken in march 2003, on the meeting that i organise here in the cosy city center of Ninove, the place where i live. Every year about 150/200/250 cars come over depending on what the weather is. As the meeting is a season-opener, it is very early in the year… hence the difficulty of finding a weekend that has GOOD WEATHER!

STEVEs VW SHOP

“THeRe Is NO SUbsTiTutE For A GOOD HEAD JOB” is the favorite motto of Steve, From Steve’s VW shop in Lochristi, near Ghent, in Belgium. Steve is The head master of our little country, and has put down his name on a lot of BIG CC’d volkswagen engines… This lovely car, once owned by kobus is an orginal Two Tone with a steel sliding sunroof is the Type three of Steves girlfriend, Sofie.

affectionnado !!!

This cars’ ass hauls California…Well seems that this guy is a real T3 affectionado. The guy did not hesitate to slap a giant turbo on his engine, in his much beloved notch. too bad he had to let go the magical S that was grafted on his engine lid. (well, choices have too be made…) I think the guy is even running magical 10s on 1/4m! In the back of the picture, we see exhibit B, proving that this guy is a notch lover: a ruby red notch with those sexy towel rail bumpers! Sixto, (this is the guys name), please give me a (wild)ride in your car next time i am over in the states?!

T34 1500 S

yes, there was a “Karmann Ghia” that was kinda more “squarier” than the round T14, it was also designed by Karmann Ghia in germany, and also in those models, there were 1500S cars in 1964/1965. now, these cars have the best of all worlds: lots of horsepower (a hefty 55hp) and the more sexy (razor-sharp) lines of the T34 Karmann Ghia (called Razor Ghia by enthousiasts).
This velvetgreen one is from: i do not know where, picture taken: i do not know when…
