This picture was taken on the spa francorchamps bugshow on saturday 17th of august 2002. I was then FRESHLY married for two days, and visited the spa francorchamps show prior to leaving on honeymoon for two weeks to the fabulous island of BALI.
 
I had written “just married-honk” on the rear window,
and boyyy – did they honk on the highway !
 
next to my black T3 you see a very clean, low mileage notch, that now resides in the UK, in Scotland, to be more precise…

Estelle decided to start in style with her recently finished notchback. The basic treatment of any type 3 consists of a lowering job so her daily driver is lowered 2 splines front and 1 spline rear. She didn’t want to compromise on the wheels so she ordered a set of Der Steiner Rad in 4.5×15 and 5.5×15. The stock interior got a Webber (USA) steering wheel and some other goodies.

the squareback on the right hand side belonged to David, known as Dav, headhoncho workshop at “PAT’s”.
He sold it not so long ago.
It was a very nice automatic car !
