They manage to fit a turbo to a volkswagen engine in that cramped engine bay !
 

this picture was taken at Francorchamps 2003, it is a very nice notchback with a lot of decoration … i really like the color scheme, black top on green paint, but …. if the owner would have read this blogs, and particularly about the roofline on two tone cars, he would not have made the mistake he has made !

They have arrived, the badges for the Oldspeed challeng in Bitburg, it is a challenge for tuned beetles, but oldspeed tuned, that is tuned “the old fashionned way” as they did “it” 40 years ago… expect some wild 1.192cc engine beetles that have their wheels dug in the asphalt with their 44-50 horsepower (instead of 25-30-36!!!)

Recently i have got this picture in my mailbox from another “sign” collector. It seems to be an New Old Stock TL sign. The guy didn’t open it yet. So i asked the guy… are you sure there is one in it ??? haha

At last… a pic of an abarth auspuff (and it is mmmmmmine !). it looks a bit used, but it isn’t, i think it is because of the bad storage conditions, that it looks like that. The inside of the exhaust looks brand spanking new, and not black like a used one… Too bad the abarth sticker is missing, but doesn’t mather, it would burn after a few minutes of driving anyway.
This exhaust is the ultimate sports exhaust for the vintage Type three freak !

you do not see fastbacks very often driving around, or parked on the street… so when i saw this fasty on the side of the road, going to Xavier from “het boxertje” (also owner of very fast fasty), i did not hesitate to take fast a fast picture…

Apparently Mycha is getting his car, a lovely white-blackroof-red interior 1964 notch ready for BITBURG, on 31 july, and 1 august 2004!
