Russel won “Top 20” prize,
being selected from more than 1500 cars !
 
 

I had a talk with Russel Richie, who brought over his TOPCHOP car that was once owned and build by Keith Goss in the 70ies, and won Best of Show BUG-IN 1973.
 
The car is still looking great after all these years,
and he is also still VERY FAST.

i saw this lady wearing a very nice Tshirt of our DDDay2 event that took place last week, and asked her to take a picture from it.
 
She let me take a picture of the nice logo on the Tshirt,
(yeahhh sure, t shirt, logo, BLABLABLA!!!!)
and i promised her that i would not mention her name.

alot happened over there in Spa Francorchamps.
 
there was even a surfing accident:
a t3 squareback affectionado was attacked by a great white shark in the nearby lake and managed to drive his car to the redcross emergency station with only one arm left.

(they did offer me some aspegic500 on sunday morning however, at the redcross station)

we did it!
we survived another Spa francorchamps meeting.
 
i always will remember this meeting as the meeting with the most T3’s !
this year, a massive amount of type threes came to the Belgian ardennes…
 
Even type three detectives came with their slammed panel on gazburners.

here is another nice pic taken yesterday on the cruizenight. On the left you see the freshly done Ruby Red beetle from Benoit with Horsepower Galore !
 
On the right we see Xaviers well known porsche sepia brown 1967 with gasburners. 

After a punk smashed up didiers GT2, Didier decided to go for a GT3 RS. This car is out of the world and only about 200 cars will be made of this model. Here is the car visiting the Mac Do cruize yesterday evening at Waterloo. Didier is looking sorry for not driving a beetle anymore apparently. 😉
 
 
Those two cars seem happily married. Look at the same blue color. The German Look Beetle next to Didiers GT3 RS is Benjamins car, the car-electrician of our “gang”.

Here you see the nose again from the type three of emmerson. Emmersons T3 is the only type three in the club.
