i think Steve got rid of his wide tires to go to the technical control… they will be back on the car as soon as it has passed ! check out Steves website at http://www.stevesvwshop.be/

you do not see fastbacks very often driving around, or parked on the street… so when i saw this fasty on the side of the road, going to Xavier from “het boxertje” (also owner of very fast fasty), i did not hesitate to take fast a fast picture…

Apparently Mycha is getting his car, a lovely white-blackroof-red interior 1964 notch ready for BITBURG, on 31 july, and 1 august 2004!

This car had a porsche 6 cylinder engine a few years ago, and was changed into a fire breating 2.3L volkswagen engine also a few years ago, the car was green then, and now repainted in a grey “pearlisch” color, the new engine will be a another new 2.2L engine.

this picture was taken on the first BUGTOUR rally in the “flemisch ardennes” One of the organising club’s member has also a 1500 S that he has painted flat black. the car was painted PINK before and used as a publicity vehicle for a local volkswagen dealership. the car is VERY solid, and has NO rust at all ! even the classy interior meets my (very) high standards !

Well, i have been building this wall-ornament since a long time now. I have been collecting complete S-signs since a “few” years back. i think i bought the first in the UK around 1997. I really would like to have the seven colors of 1964 on that rack. At this time, Kurt, the shoe guy is having a seventh item painted Ruby Red for me.-thx dude- you’re da man !
behind the rack is my 135HP 2007cc engined beetle.

What a classy car ! a white convertible with a black top always seems to be a very classy combination. imagine it with Porsche 914/6 optional wheels (aka gasburners) and you’ve got a winner !

This morning i found this link in my mailbox, and you can see a lot of old cars in this movie: old beetles, mercedes, porsche 914 and yes, even a NOTCHBACK !
