I just received some pictures from Leif, a member of the norvegian club “Screwdrivers” on wich BBQ I was invited during the weekend of the Scandinavian Callook Classic meeting.
 
The picture shows the tin that was removed from a freshly dlivered delivery 1969 delivery van (yep!-rare-model-delivery-van)
 
Only 34.000km later leif became owner of this one owner low mileage car. Tin will be posed where it belongs in the near future. In the sides of his Kewl Variant that is…

i did the “walk of the ten castles” two years ago, it was a nice drive through belgium, exploring several old castles in the french region of belgium. here we see the cars stopping at the “water castle of Spontin“. The owner who was in his 80-ies had once a BUGATTI, but had to sell it to finance the maintenance of this huge castle.
 
sadly, i heard on the news several weeks ago that the owner of the castle, for whom i had a great amount of respect, was killed when somebody robbed him for 15 euros.
 
where is this world going ?
may he rest in peace!

and their was even a barnfind T3 on vieuw on the french super vw nats.
 
i will always remember the 2004 edition of the supervw nats as the
“had-a-silly-breakdown-with-the-2007cc-and-was-saved-by-BOBs-schwimmer-from-BBT-HQ-in-antwerp”!

well, i forgot to warn you guys from out of the belgian country that there would be no post on july 21. On july 21st we do not work in belgium.
as with the frenchies that have their “fete national” on ” le kkkatorze” (14th luly)
we do it, on the 21st.

there was even a type three space reserved for the hardcore type three enthousiast. You had a very clear vieuw on the lingerie show from there.

Imagine this, being in a traffic jam with only type threes… it happens… in japan! this picture is taken on the 6th TYPE THREE DAY that is organised in japan. djeezes. what a picture. i still can’t believe it ! all these squares and notches and fastys… hmmmmm… everything to make a type three buffer drewl !
 
what the heck, i was planning going over to japan next year, to check out the volkswagen scene, so now i will have to go when there is a type three day.
