balade des dix chateaux

i did the “walk of the ten castles” two years ago, it was a nice drive through belgium, exploring several old castles in the french region of belgium. here we see the cars stopping at the “water castle of Spontin“. The owner who was in his 80-ies had once a BUGATTI, but had to sell it to finance the maintenance of this huge castle.
 
sadly, i heard on the news several weeks ago that the owner of the castle, for whom i had a great amount of respect, was killed when somebody robbed him for 15 euros.
 
where is this world going ?
