It’s official … the dates are set … the next biggest volkswagen nostalgia event will take place on 1.2.3 JULY 2011… start your projects now ! you still have some time to finish that cool calloooker or gasser for the next EUROPEAN BUG IN !!!

According to www.vwshows.info there’s a lot to do in this weekend for the aircooled enthousiast … the EURO BUG IN BUS will be attending the RETRO VW days. it’s gonna be sunny, so i hope to get myself a little bit of tan.

the EBI crew will give a prize for the best callook on show … and titi the organiser talked me into “miking” some of the event … dude … i really do not have a dyno don voice, nor the tthe trademark … tadatataaaa 🙂

The engine for the niagara blue bus is done now, i picked it up, lovely installed in the bus yesterday evening, and enjoyed every moment of the cruize home with the new 1915CC engine … it has alot of torque, and especially the original aspect really keeps me rambling on and on … original carb, original exhaust, all tuned on rolling road dyno at www.stevesvwshop.be. Be sure to call steve if you’re into an engine project. He will guide you trough the process, and will assemble what ticks your box, a full on dragracing engine, or in my case, a torque pregnant engine with original looks. 

I was invited to a friend’s appartment to watch the Formula 1 GP of monaco this weekend … it was a great weekend ! not only we saw the high tech cars of the current F1 teams, but we also saw alot … and i mean alot … of high priced cars. it just looks as if everybody in Monaco drives a 100.000+++ EUR car … Ferrari and Bentley being the most popular. and what about Mercedes SLS, SLR’s, spider and coupé … they do drive in Monaco ! oh yeah, forget about that porsche 911. no one wants to be seen in it … boring ! 🙂
