This year we managed to do a real nice setup thanks to the guys of http://kweenony.skynetblogs.be and the guys from www.vwcafé.be . When we started the DDDays 10 years ago, we had to make a prize … we asked ourselves what kind of prize that we would have liked to receive when we won something on a car show … This was the result, … Half a 48 IDA matched to the logo of the event and a dashplaque. After 9 years, we allready gave away 27 prizes, that is 13 and 1/2 48IDA webers 😉 The owners of these prizes know that these are signed on the back by all club members !

When you have a prize like this standing or hanging in your office … send us a picture of it ! We’ll be more than happy to see it’s in good condition and being taken care of !

Alltough the weather was very nice, there were some clouds in Bitburg … Steve from Steves vw shop was responsible for some of these clouds. watch him doing this 3rd gear burnout. (yes, 3rd gear)

Thank you to the author of these pix making my day, in non aircooled cars, these versions of the Mercedes C class carry away my respect. 12.9 out of the box, turn key … respect ! People knowing my these cars have cost me allready quite a while without a driving license. Anyway, it’s worth it 🙂

To keep us going all weekend long, we’re really in need of these pitbikes, … quite a funny vieuw there … Three daxes and a Monkey Z50B and a Monkey Z50A. None of them being replica’s.

Alltough i took LB with me on a trailer, because i was quite in need of extra space for tables, other logistics, etc etc … LB performed flawless … at day and at night the little bastard managed to get me evrywhere with the sweet sound of 48IDAs in my ears. He is also very happy when we’re off to the ARAL station getting his yearly portion of 102oct fuel !
