
little bastard got a new heart, but still based around the same old trusty high quality cranck i bought about almost 9 years ago now. some high quality parts got joined with that cranck and some heads from stevesvw shop topped it off. they are all living happy together now, in the same engine housing that was machined and shuffle pinned at rimco about 8 years ago.

i left too late, making sure that my car got back together, after some final tweeking on the carbs, and changing some jets, and got stuck in a major traffic jam on the brussels "ring". luckily, the master of engine and head work steve, to whom i am a great fan, explained me his zen method of engine assembling, and the secrets of engine life.

corvair emmy was back in buissness with a souped up, but not race-spec corvair six cylinder boxer engine, with a nice holley carburettor set up … this baby still does it.
a good weekend

it was a good weekend for a certain spot on fastback, … teak interior, slightly refreshed, italian spec white turn indicators, never seen before type three bumper bars, seventies shiny paint and two piece empi 8 spokes in a lovely bling bling gold color, and a side mirror that makes the car go 100mph even when it is standing still… however, no rally grilles ;-))))
