I still know a set of rear type three “wide five” drums for sale. they are complete, including backing plates, but need a complete restoration. the brake-parts inside the drum are from 1302/1303 and can be found easlily…
 
they can be used on your type three restoration, but more interesting can be used as a better brake provider on your callook beetle or whatever. i have a setup like this in my beetle and i am very happy with it.
