CURLIEs new FAT CHICK
here is curlies (newest) acquisition: a baywindow, or as they say it now, with the new word: FAT CHICK from 1970.
it is a deluxe version and might be the sole survivor in that color combination.
what do we want him to do to this bus ? i first tought of a black paintjob and some polished (not completely) berms, but then i heard it was a frikkin’ rare color …
so i would go for the kobus touch: DUMP IT and get some fuchs wheels for it !
btw, he told me he bought it from a schnapps manufacturer, and that tthe van still smells schnapps…..

money shot
here is is, the money shot.
the last pic of my beloved beetle when i left him at the volkswagen garage. it didn’t do me any good, leaving him there, all alone, in the cold air… i must admit, i had it very difficult not to cry and weep like a litle baby. it was more pain and grief than a white boy can manage.
i promised him it would be all okay, and that the new owner would take care of him.
i got his old wheels back on it, and raised it to original spec.
and i drove home with a new car: the same model, same color, but in cabrio.
