on the weekend of april 23 i will be participating in the “ardenne blue rally” in and around Spa, in the belgian ardennes … keep the fingers crossed that i will not end in the lower part of the results like i did last year, and all this because of a timing session when blokked behind a “zjiekstik” (untranslateable, don’t ask me, hahaha).
 
i will be competing against rolls royces, bentleys, ferraris, mercedes, and all the other big guys… the owners of these cars i compete with generally have a watch more expensive than my car 🙂

this is my worst nightmare: my garage going up in flames together with all my collected parts…
 
a certain pyromane lit this garage with all the loved and cared bits and pieces and cars from this swiss club. this 59 is from Roby it was the first callook beetle in switzerland.
 
let’s hope that the guy who did this pays back every penny of damage he did. 

This article in the “XL magazine” was published last week… i had the chance of buying a copy of it in austria. This article gave me the chance to show how mad i am of my beloved 1500s, together with five other car nuts … if you see really well in the picture, you see me sitting in the … front trunk of my car ! and you can see my beetle in the reflection of the shiny side of my 1500s … i must say that joost joosen (funny name isn’t it?), the fotographer who came to shoot (pictures) me and my car did an excellent job.
 
the magazine is read by more than 1 million readers … i had reactions from all over the place and my mailbox was stuffed with “hey, i saw you in XL magazine”-messages … now this is what i call funny !

i just want to know what it would be like to drive over this new bridge … i think it is the world’s highest bridge and is build by the company “Eiffage” that also builded the Eiffel tower from Gustave Eiffel in Paris more than 100 years ago …
 
imagine yourself cruizing down that bridge in your beloved 1500s, while getting a really good headjob ! yeah baby … you’re in heaven now !
