i drove a few 100 kilometers this week to get hold of a picture of my grandfather and his bike. it is a Sarolea 500, and was a badass bike in the 1920ies… it was belgian made and it even drove 80km/hour! my grandmother sold the bike in 1939 for 100belgian francs, about 2.5 euros now…
 
the stories my grandfather told me about this bike are so numerous i cannot write them down here.
 
i know that there is one sarolea 500 in the hands of “le musee du circuit” in Stavelot.

hello there, i am selling my 17 inch BRM wheels that were on my newbeetle. they were on my NB for about 60.000km and are in quite good condition. one wheel has very slight curb damage (the wheel you see on the right in the picture), but only scratches, the wheel is not deformed whatsoever. eventually you can have two used tires that go on these wheels, they still have the minimal groove depth, so can be used for a minimum of time.
 
wanna have these very sexy wheels ? they could be yours for 800 euros…
