yesterday it was time for a dirty yearly job: painting the exhaust.
nope, i ain’t for those shiny ones ! 

check out these funky four lug riviera wheels that are for sale by party animal frank aka beetleboy of the flatline lowriders. it is a polished set of rivieras that would look good on any type three and/or bug, KG, etc etc… of course … the wheels come with FIRESTONE 165 tires in the rear and FIRESTONE 145 tires in the front …. very good for that callook stance on your type three and/or your karmann ghia… (where the weels really need to be tucked under the fenders in the rear, hence the slightly smaller rear tire than the classic 195 or beefy 205…)
 
btw, at this moment the wheels are still guarded by this monster dog.
the wheels come without the dog. the dog will not bite you if you buy them.
frank is asking 500 euros for the coolest set of rivieras around town,
now how cool is that?

i got my car back from steves vw shop yesterday, and after some final tweeking i got home with a new “freddy gearbox” (it is a rancho pro street gearbox) and a shortened frontbeam…

very, very oldschool picture of me being the funniest guy of the bunch…
making the word “canal+” one digit shorter…

and yes, there was a type three winner last year …

i haven’t had alot of time to post, but i can assure you, that i will have new pix of very nice chickx …. eurrr cars that is, in the new freshly started 2005 season…

i bought this steering wheel, because i had a very good feeling about it, it is a 15 inch original EMPI GTV steering wheel, as i like it, with the original california sunshine patina on it, and god-forbid !, not too much cleaned and/or polished ! however it has no cracks and or damage, and will bolt inside your car like a dream. also the horn button is in good condition, however verrry slightly sun-used… that’s the way i like it !
 
anyway, i have no use for this steering wheel at this time, i can’t use two in my 57 bug… so i might just sell it, so if you are interested, mail me at fastfred@autobahn.be
