hessisch oldendorf

this weekend, the 4-year-only-meeting had place in the lovely city of Hessisch Oldendorf, however, as my agenda would not allow it to go for more days, i just had to drewl over the cars starting at BBT headquarters in Antwerp.
 
normal plan was only to see them leave, but Shin, the photographer from Let’s play VW’s (Japan) and Julien David from Super VW magazine asked me if they could drive along in my cabrio, to shoot pictures, with the top of the cabrio down… so i drove several 100kms with two crazy photographers in the rear of my cab, hanging almost completely out of the car at some moments… too bad i do not have pictures of that !
 
(see gunter with only one T and no H taking down the cool BBT banner, and no, i did not took his proposal to get it for him, the 40 year old ladder could have been bent !)

to do list…

1. get yourself some 17 inch berms for your newbie cab… done
2. order a H&R lowering kit of -4cm… done
3. order a chiptuning for your newbie cab… +30hp… done…
4. order some tires… still checking…
 
now get it all installed…
and my car will be officially been “pimped”  

OO YEA

being not so happy anymore with the Michelin Pilot Sport tires (i don’t like the design of the tire- really “round” heel of the tire) i started looking and browsing trough some websites. at this point i think i am gonna shod my 17 inch berms with some goodyear eagle F1 tires… i like the sturdy heel of the tire, that fills up the space between the rim and the ground, and the V-design…
 
any feedback on this tires ?

Sunday evening there is the possibility to cruise down to Nivelles, not far from Brussels (PAT vw shop). The cruise, the convoy will leave from the parking lot of the burger king in Bitburg

16        august             DAS DYNO DAY 2

            tuesday           at 09.00am we are leaving for the Dyno shop from PAT’s parkinglot       inscriptions really fast necessary at fastfred@autobahn.be

                                    price would be 30 euros for one car.

                                    Please register really fast, only limited number of cars can participate.

 

17        august             OPEN HOUSE at PAT vw shop (nivelles)

            wednesday            BBQ all day long

                                    Evening cruise to the MACDONALDS from Waterloo

 

18        august             Free day or….

            thursday          There is also the possibility to go to the D’ieteren (belgians vw-

                                    Importer) museum. D’ieteren is having a magnificent display of

                                    Old and new cars in their first building. (very nice!)

 

19        august             You can leave for the spa circuit, and have fun, actually

            friday               using, driving the whole circuit, full throttle ! inscriptions are
