yes, i do love any kind of aircooled volkswagens, also the war period cars as the schwimmwagen and the kubelwagen (this picture). check out the “desert Kronprinz” tires. normally this car should have been used in the desert, in northern Afrika… maybe under the command of the “desert wolf”, general Rommel … if you see a picture this old, you always think … what is the history behind this picture ? who is that person, how old was he ? would he still be alive ? does the car still exists ? too bad the soldiers feet is just in front of the two letters in front of the numberplate, otherwise we would have known if it was an SS-division or a wehrmacht-division car.
