twins ?

alltough not exact my cup of tea, these two twin velvet green later models, were amazing in detailing. it was a long time ago that i saw somebody putting that much effort in restoring and creating his own personalised type three.

 

 

 

hoeilaart

hoeilaart is a green lung next to brussels, you would be amazed how green it is over there, and you must know… hoeilaart is the belgian region for grapes… the best grapes come from here, … hence all the glass houses, on every square inch of the region…

 

they even have a specific style of wooden houses-villas (1920-1960), over there promoted by an architect, who also happened to have the biggest wood company in the region…  how conveniant.

jimmys 1835cc

jimmy, a type three nut i have know from ages, since i was young and pretty,

was able to tea spoon a very nice and healthy 145Nm standard looking 1835cc engine in his 1966 variant… i saw the car with the exhaust i sold to him at hoeilaart, and i was pretty amazed of the result. i even like the sound of the exhaust, it gives the car a sporty sound to say the least…
