pixeleye racing ? Dirk belau’s book just arrived this weekend and i was amazed he even used pictures from the das drag days in his mainly hotrod picture book. buy it for the hotrods, the pin ups, but also for some nice ddday pictures !

knowing type threes really well, i know what is is to make a notch drive, and i really do know what kind of effort this guy went trough restoring his car in a better condition than when it left the factory ! 

pinky, the pink notchback in the japanese magazine ! seems that gizmobob is having a great time driving pinky, the oldest sunroof notch known to the shows ! i allways keep track of that car, because gizmobob had me trading for this car.

sitting here watching the rain pour down, makes me think of the joy of riding and driving my 58 beetle, perhaps something i won’t do for the next few months… because of the crappy weather !!! so luckily, i took the right decision yesterday: take her out for (probably) the last drive of the 2008 year …
