This wheelstander T3 squareback still seems to exist in California. A wheelstander is made to drive the 1/4m completely with the front wheels in the air.
So, you would ask, how can you see the way you are driving ?
very easy: there is a hole in the floor so that the driver can see where he is driving.

Jason, the mechanic
This little guys name is Jason, he is the son of family from my wife Isabel.
He really likes the ‘old’ volkswagen as he calls it, and he sees the car as a big toy.
Yesterday, i learned him counting… counting wheelbolts.
Here you see him prior to putting a volkswagen-5lug-wheel
onto the 1975 toyota from my father in law…
(haha quite funny, he really wanted to do that !)

it finally happened, everyone knew this day was going to come…. another DRAGSTRIP has been closed! this time it’s one that over the years has seen more Callook vw’s than any other track! Carlsbad is no more… a minute of scilence please….
