This picture is taken on one of the first “24hrs of Spa Francorchamps” in 1964, racing for touring cars. The drivers had to run to the cars, start them, and leave the pits. Like it was before in Le Mans. In this edition, Volkswagen participated with four 1500S cars. Find the T3s in the picture that is kinda foggy of the exhaust fumes … and check out the people, that are standing almost on the racing grid …

you can clearly see two lancias. One of the two would do a horrific crash in wich the driver was killed.
